The Clothes Show 2016

This years Clothes Show was actually my 5th year going, and I really enjoyed it! So I thought I'd share some of the things I bought.

This is all the makeup that came included in the "goody bags" and that I bought separately. If you're not familiar with the format of the clothes show it's basically like summer in the city or comic-con but with clothes and makeup. Also the main show is a fashion/dance show.

This palette is from w7 and apparently it is a really good dupe for one of the Naked palletes, I wouldn't know as I don't own one as much as I'd love to!

Different brands have different style sections and stalls but both Barry M and Models Own sell "goody bags". With Barry M you get a makeup bag and inside are loads of Barry M products, each person gets different bags and things inside. The products cost around £70 usually however they were selling for £10 at the Clothes Show.

Same sort of thing with Models Own, but you choose 3 full size products on the stand and then they add that to the set products (some were slightly smaller) that everyone gets given, these were being sold for £10 too (I also got a makeup brush cleaning mitt).
I definitely went to the Clothes Show intending to buy makeup brushes and I absolutely love these! They are Beau Belle Brushes and I got the bronze set. All of the brushes and the pot cost £30 (I think I'm not 100% sure but they were definitely cheaper than what they usually cost).

Every year we've been to the Clothes Show there has been a stall that sells random (branded) jewellery all for £1. This was originally £5 from Topshop, I thought it was so cute and for £1 you can't really go wrong!

I love this top so much, it's from a place called fan-club (I think) and it was £20. It can go with anything I love wearing with my mom jeans as well as my skinny jeans, but it could also look really cute with a skirt.

This slouchy jumper is from In the Style and it was £10. This is an easy jumper to stick on if you want to look like a half put together human whilst requiring 0 effort.

I really love these shoes, I mean they are pretty crazy but sometimes you just need some pink pompom shoes in your life. They were only £15 and were from Truffle Collection.

3 Last Minute Halloween Ideas!

Considering Halloween is just around the corner, I figured I'd try a few simple makeup looks. These four looks are so easy to recreate and could be paired with really simple costumes.
To make yourself look like a cartoon, use a white eyeliner to draw white circles all of your face. Then grab a black eyeliner to fill your eyebrows in (they look better when they are darker) and outline a tear shape under one of your eyes, fill this in with blue eyeliner or shadow. Next using the same black liner follow the shape of your jaw and nose, then outline your lips. Finally put on a bright red lipstick on, and with the white eyeliner just draw a small triangular shape (to look like a reflection) and outline this with the black liner. This is so easy to do, and if you pair it with a logo t-shirt and jeans, you have a costume!

This next one I created on my friend, it's a half skeleton look, which can be worn with anything black and looks really good. Firstly, do your usual face of makeup on one half of your face and on the other use a really pale foundation, or a white face paint (just make sure it is something much paler than your usual skin tone). Next, using a black eyeliner draw a circle around your eye, fill this with black eyeshadow. Then using the same black eyeliner draw around your temples, jaw, eyebrows, nose (add a triangle shape on the tip of your nose). Draw an extended line from your mouth and put small vertical lines all the way down this line to look like teeth also do this onto your lips . Fill in the space between your hair line and the line along your temples with black liquid liner, do the same under your chin and fill in the triangle on your nose. Then, finally with a black pencil liner just add some lines, to look like cracks under the eye and where the face is separated (skeleton/normal).

To turn yourself into a pumpkin all you need to do is create a really orange base. I used lots of layers of foundation and over the top a really orange toned bronzer, and the key is to just keep adding more layers (I also just did a winger black liner and added some mascara). Then once you've got an orange base you are happy with, use a black eyeshadow to draw triangles coming down from the bottom of your eyes (and add some black contour if you like). Then using a black pencil liner draw vertical lines down your face, smudge those lines and the triangles slightly. Over the top of your mouth, using a black liquid liner draw a traditional cut out pumpkin mouth and fill it in. To go with this you could wear black, orange, or even green- like the pumpkin stalk.

Bruges is so pretty!

It feels like such a long time ago that I was walking around the picturesque town of Bruges. Whilst I was there I took so many beautiful photos and I thought I would upload them on here as I really enjoyed it. We went there straight after our holiday in France and we spent the afternoon, the night, and the morning of the next day there after leaving for England that afternoon.

The first thing we did as we came into the main market "markt" was grab a box of chips with sauce, the chips were the best chips I've had hands down!

On our second and last day we went on a boat trip which was great to see a different aspect of the cities famous landmarks.

The holidays have gone so fast and I cant believe I'm saying there's just over a week until school starts again!
